ContiMech
Robotics & Automation Engineering
Delivery model

Small core team. Full engineering delivery.

ContiMech keeps system ownership, architecture, design decisions, integration, and project coordination inside the core team. Specialized research, production, laboratory, and field activities scale through a trusted local engineering network.

Engineering ownership

The customer works with one technical owner

We do not split system responsibility between subcontractors. ContiMech defines the task, prepares the engineering package, coordinates external work, reviews the result, integrates it, and verifies it against the system requirements.

Extended engineering network

Specialized capacity where the project needs it

External capacity is used for facilities, manufacturing processes, scientific expertise, or independent evidence — not for transferring system ownership.

01Research

Deep domain research

For tasks beyond our primary engineering domains, we can involve academic specialists from departments and research groups at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Scientific consultation · modelling · experimental methods
02Manufacturing

Parts & small-series production

We prepare the design and manufacturing package; established production partners provide the required process capacity. We have practical cooperation with manufacturers in Kharkiv and Bila Tserkva.

CNC · sheet metal · enclosures · structural parts · prototypes
03Harnesses

Designed by us. Built by harness specialists.

ContiMech defines pin mapping, connectors and contacts, wire sizing, shielding, grounding, routing constraints, drawings, manufacturing tables, and acceptance criteria. Production is performed by specialized partners in Dnipro and Ivano-Frankivsk.

Specification · manufacture · inspection · electrical check · integration
04Independent evidence

Testing, metrology & certification

When the project requires independent laboratory infrastructure, metrology, conformity assessment, or certification, we coordinate the work with specialized organizations and accredited facilities.

Test scope · sample preparation · evidence · corrective loop
05Field work

Controlled field testing

For systems that must leave the lab, we can arrange access to suitable local test areas and coordinate the permissions required for a defined test programme.

Outdoor trials · communication tests · sensors · autonomous systems
Example boundary

Harness engineering is part of the system. Harness production is a manufacturing process.

This boundary is intentional. Electrical load, interface definition, contact selection, wire cross-section, shielding, routing, and acceptance remain engineering decisions. Crimping, assembly, and series production are assigned to companies that manufacture harnesses professionally.

What remains with ContiMech

Technical specificationRequirements, interfaces, drawings, BOM inputs, tolerances, acceptance.
Partner selection & coordinationRFQ inputs, technical clarification, procurement, schedule and logistics.
Technical acceptanceReview of produced parts, assemblies, harnesses, reports, and deviations.
System integrationBring-up, fit checks, electrical integration, firmware/software integration, debugging.

One engineering interface

Use the capacity you need without building the supplier chain yourself.

Send the system context, expected result, constraints, and timeline. We will define what stays in the core team, what requires external capacity, and how acceptance is controlled.
